Our first batch of top 10 lists starts with the top 10 richest Youtubers. To many of us it is difficult to see how so much money can be made from Youtube but when you consider that 4,950,000,000 videos are viewed every single day then I think you can start to see why!

Youtube was founded in 2005 by 3 people; Steve Chen, Chad Hurley and Jawed Karim and has grown in popularity each year.

So here we go with the current top 10 richest Youtubers:

The Number 1 spot goes to PewDiePie

pewdiepie youtuberPewDiePie is Swedish and his estimated earnings from Youtube is $12 million. His channels include Let Play videos where he plays various games and comments on them whilst playing the game.

 

Number 2 – Smosh – Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla

Smosh currently have 22 million subscribers and estimated yearly earnings of around $8.5 million

Number 3 – Fine Brothers Entertainment
(brothers Benny and Rafi Fine)

Estimated Yearly Earnings of around $8 million and currently have 14 million subscribers

Number 4 – Lindsey Stirling

Lindsey is an American violinist and dancer who struggled to get a record label so she decided to setup on Youtube. Well done Lindsey as she now has estimated yearly earnings of $6 million and currently has over 8.5 million subscribers

Number 5 – Rhett & Link

Rhett & Link are a comedy duo and their estimated yearly earnings from Youtube are $4.5 million and they currently have more than 4.2 million subscribers.

Number 6 – KSI

KSI is an English comedian and rapper and his estimated yearly earnings on Youtube is currently $4.4 million and he currently has 14.7 million subscribers.

Number 7 –Michelle Phan

Michelle is a make-up demonstrator and currently has estimated yearly Youtube earnings of $3 million and has 8.7 million subscribers.

Number 8 – Lilly Singh

Lilly is a Canadian actress and vlogger and makes a video every Monday and Thursday. She has estimated yearly Youtube earnings of $2.5 million and currently has 10 million subscribers.

Number 9 – Roman Arwood

Roman is an american comedian and vlogger who currently has more than 9.7 million subscribers on Youtube and his yearly Youtube earnings are an estimated $2.4 million.

Number 10 – Rosanna Pansino

Rosanna is a chef and has more than 7 million Youtube subscribers and is currently getting an estimated yearly income of $2.35 million.

 

None of these Youtubers appear in the Top 10 richest people in the world however.

Obviously these positions will be constantly changing and they are based on 2015 figures and have been taken from various sources.
